The weather here affects me too. I don't know how I get out of bed some mornings. I think the enthusiasm to read your blog got me up today. Hope you are snuggled up and keep warm.

Excellent post. I've recently self-diagnosed myself with fibro - I don't have insurance - and have apparently had it for a few years. Humidity, more than any other weather change, almost completely incapacitates me. This summer, we purchased a huge comforter at a garage sale - basically because of the colors and size, but we've discovered that apparently, it is stuffed with either wool or cotton (no poly) and it allows me to sleep "dry." Other covers cause me to get too hot or sweaty, but this just keeps my warm and dry - making it much easier, and less painful, to move during the day.

The link was interesting too - I was diagnosed with "severe" osteoarthritis about 10 years ago so to know that the two are sort of connected intrigued me.

Thanks for this informative blog - I'll be back.
