House Rule
Banner Day For Me and My Blog
Today is a banner day (quite literally) for my blog. As you can see, Amazon.com is now supporting my blog through advertising. Woohoo! I love Amazon (and they didn’t ask me to say that or even mention them, by the way). We have a standing rule in our house.
If Mom is on Amazon, leave her alone.
The reasons for this are many:
Reason #1 Mom is trying to find information and questions to stump her Book Club.
Reason #2 Mom is finding an elusive item (last year it was a Rubik‘s Cube for a science class!).
Reason #3 Mom may be Christmas shopping. Enough said.
And, most importantly:
Reason #4 Mom needs a “pick me up.” Amazon is one of the quickest ways I know to bring a smile to my face when I’m feeling stressed, sad or overwhelmed. I love books - and Amazon doesn’t require me to get in my car to access them! (A definite plus for Fibromites.)
Another reason this is a banner day for me is that I am feeling pretty well today. I’ve been getting more solid hours of sleep and drinking more water, along with eating gluten free for the most part, this week, and it seems to be helping. I was able to volunteer at my daughter’s school today - Yay!

If I have to get a new laptop I’m blaming you! LMAO This post ought to have a “don’t drink while reading” warning above it. I was happily reading the post until I came to the bit about “If Mom is on Amazon, leave her alone!” I think I’m gonna make a poster with that on it and pin it to the wall! Thanks for the chuckle!

I hope your laptop survived. I have had some near incidents with my laptop as well. I’ll have to put a disclaimer on my blog.
