Working Out The Kinks
Pilates - A Commitment to Living Well
At Pilates, yesterday, my instructor asked if I’d had any pain from our last workout. Silly me answered negatively, so she upped the workout. So I am sore today.
But, it’s a good sore; unlike the achy joint pain, which can be quite sharp at times. It makes me aware that I worked my muscles and helps me feel stronger. It amazes me that the Pilates work somehow leaves me feeling better and more energetic, but it does. So I’ll be back next Monday for more.
I’ve had a hard time switching back to a gluten free diet since my Mothers Day interruption. Tomorrow is Wednesday, Henry’s produce day, so once I stock up, I should be able to be more committed. I’m very curious about eating gluten free, because I really felt like I had started to notice a difference. I need to stock up on fruits and veggies that I can grab at a moments notice, because with toddlers underfoot I rarely have a chance to make myself a meal during the day. Another thing that I think I’ll try is making a brown rice salad ahead of time. That’s makes a quick and easy lunch.
*** By the way, my Pilates instructor is going to be making a DVD for home use. If you know of a film student who is looking for a project for experience and a little cash, let me know. ***

What kinds of foods do you avoid in order to have a gluten free diet? It sounds like you are eating healthier.
Hi Nancy,
and that’s next on my list. I’ll probably be trying out the gluten free style for quite some time just to avoid that! Anyway, here’s a link to the post I wrote aboute do’s and dont’s of eating gluten free. http://happyfibrofamily.today.com/2008/05/02/going-gluten-free/
I’m trying to eat healthier, anyway. I’m really hoping that gluten free is the answer for me because I don’t want to give up chocolate
You’ll find a link in the post itself that gives even more detail, if you need it.
Thanks for reading. Hope you’re enjoying it!
